I’ve always believed small business success isn’t about size — it’s about impact. And sometimes, the biggest impact can come from the smallest of setups.
This week, I’m proud to share that I’ve been named one of the Top 50 Small Business Leaders 2025 by Inside Small Business, presented by Odoo.
A solopreneur from Palmerston making national impact
I run The Bid Agency from my home office in Palmerston. As a solopreneur, it’s just me working directly with clients — no layers, no team behind the scenes — but the results speak for themselves.
Over the past decade, I’ve helped businesses across the Northern Territory and Australia win over $2 billion in tenders, secure hundreds of millions in grants, and gain recognition through business and professional awards.
In March, I was also proud to be named the 2025 Australian Small Business Champion – Business Consultancy, adding to multiple wins at the Roar Success Awards.

Through The Bid Agency, I specialise in tender writing, grant writing, and award nominations. My approach is simple: I cut the overwhelm and bring structure to the process.
I tell it like it is — sometimes that’s not what a client wants to hear, but the reality is their money is best spent on competitive, viable opportunities that support long-term growth and sustainability. I don’t take on long shots. My role is to make submissions clear, persuasive, and compliant so businesses have the strongest chance of success.
